In the case of sales contracts made via the online shop of a value of over 50 euro, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you have to inform us (Münze Österreich AG, Am Heumarkt 1, 1031 Vienna, Tel.: +43(0) 1 717 15-0, Fax: +43(0) 1 7158610, firstname.lastname@example.org) by means of a clear written statement (by letter, email or fax), of your intention to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form to do so, but it is not compulsory.
To comply with the terms of the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send notice of your cancellation of the contract before the expiry of the 14-day period.
No right of withdrawal exists for coins or products whose price is dependent on fluctuations in the financial markets and over which MÜNZE ÖSTERREICH AG has no influence. Currently these are: Vienna Philharmonics in gold, silver and platinum in all sizes/face values; bars in all available sizes; Ducats in all sizes/face values; Crowns in all sizes/face values; Gulden in all sizes/face values. Nor does any right of withdrawal exist for products that are produced according to customers’ specifications (e.g. engraved medals).
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract we will return any payment received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from you having chosen a form of delivery other than the standard delivery option offered by us), without delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which notice of your withdrawal from this contract was received by us. For this reimbursement we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless an alternative was expressly agreed with you. In no case will you be charged for this reimbursement. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have retrieved the goods, or you provide proof that you have returned them to us, whichever the earlier.
You have to return or send the goods to us without delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which you give us notice of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met when you send us the returned goods before the 14-day period expires. You have to bear the direct costs of the return of the goods, which will be on average between EUR 4.50 and EUR 25, up to a maximum of approximately EUR 155. You are only liable to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this was caused by you. The customer must pay the costs of any diminished value of the goods resulting from their handling, other than what is indispensable to ascertain the nature and functioning of the goods.
