Mercury rising

Also the guide of souls to the underworld, Mercury shares many characteristics with the Greek god, Hermes, who appears on the front of the Calendar medal 2019. Surrounded by clouds and stars, Hermes holds a caduceus – a short staff entwined by two serpents and surmounted by wings – in his left hand, in his right he holds a shield bearing the symbol of the zodiac sign, Gemini. Representing nature in the form of a fertile mother, the reverse of the medal features the earth sign Virgo against the background of the year planner.

The medal is available in gold, gold-plated silver, silver and bronze.
