If you haven't received confirmation of your order within one hour of completing it, please proceed as follows:

  1. Check the spam folder of your e-mail programme (automated e-mails are automatically treated as spam by some programmes).
  2. If no confirmation of your order can be found in the spam folder and you have ordered by credit card, please check whether your card has been charged.
  3. If you can't find an e-mail in the spam folder or a charge on your credit card, please e-mail our sales department at verkauf@muenzeoesterreich.at, stating your customer number, order date and – if possible – the approximate time of your order. We will then attempt to solve the problem based on our records.

On the basis of the directives governing money-laundering and counterterrorism, we are required to establish the identity of the buyer within six months and for a total value of € 10,000 or more. Legal basis: money-laundering legislation under §§ 165 and 278d of the Austrian Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch). Please send a copy of a piece of official photo identification (passport, driving licence, personal ID) to verkauf@muenzeoesterreich.at.

Once we've entered your order, you receive the advance payment invoice by e-mail or post within 24 hours (working days).

Orders received on weekends or public holidays are processed the next business day.

The advance payment invoice includes our account details and the amount of the invoice as well as the payment reference.

Once the amount shown on the advance payment invoice has been remitted and we've received it, you receive confirmation of its receipt by e-mail. Once we have consigned the products to the post office, you receive an e-mail from us (with the tracking number for tracking the shipment).

Log in to your customer account. Under "My Account" click on the “Billing history” option. Here you will find the online invoices dating back one year for all deliveries of orders placed under your customer number. You will find the respective billing and shopping information for products purchased online and for products ordered and shipped by subscription.

Purchasing gold investment products such as (Vienna Philharmonic coins, gold bars, gold restrikes) and copper coins is tax-free. For silver and platinum coins as well as for Euro Coin Sets an the € 3 coins, the VAT to be paid is 20%. Any taxes for deliveries and orders outside of Austria are shown in the basket.

All of the products marked in the webshop as "in stock" are also in stock in the Austrian Mint Shop in Vienna (Am Heumarkt 1, 1030 Vienna).

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we do not carry silver bars. For investors we have the Vienna Philharmonics in silver instead.

For silver bars, please contact the precious metals dealer of your choice.

In our webshop you will find new editions and products from recent years, euro-denominated coins at nominal value, artistic coins (medals), jewellery, bars and more for investing, collecting and giving. You will not find products from the schilling era or products from other manufacturers or countries. Coin dealers are responsible for these.

Please also use the search function on our website (link), which is located to the right of the Austrian Mint logo. Make sure your query does not contain any special characters, and be aware of typos.

Unfortunately, if you've already paid for the products, a change is no longer possible.

If you haven't paid for the products yet and prefer to pick up the products ordered for shipping as of the next date of issue, we request you follow the procedure below:

Cancel the order by stating your customer number in an e-mail to verkauf@muenzeoesterreich.at and order the products again in the webshop, but this time for pick-up. Prior to cancellation, please check whether the items you are interested in are still available.

Unfortunately, if you have already paid for the products, a change is no longer possible.

If you have not yet paid for the products and prefer to have the products shipped as of the next date of issue, we request you follow the procedure below:

Cancel the order by stating your customer number in an e-mail to verkauf@muenzeoesterreich.atand order the products again in the webshop, but this time for shipping. Prior to cancellation, please check whether the items you are interested in are still available.

The simplest thing is to purchase coins via our website. We deliver up to an order value of € 15,000 including shipping and insurance.

You can also purchase the products without a reservation in the Austrian Mint Shop in Vienna (Am Heumarkt 1, 1030 Vienna). In this case, the maximum cash purchase is € 75,000.

You can order an engraved medal in our online shop or in the Austrian Mint Shop in Vienna (Am Heumarkt 1, 1030 Vienna).

All orders for medals are required in writing (online or by fax). Your order is processed immediately upon full payment and the medal (link) is shipped approximately three to five days upon receipt of payment.

For pick-up in our Austrian Mint Shop in Vienna (Am Heumarkt 1, 1030 Vienna), the medal can be collected and paid for after three working days.
