To order online from the Austrian Mint, you need an online account. The form can be found here at Login. Choose your own password for the registrations in our webshop.

After submitting the form by clicking on "Register", you receive a link by e-mail. Click on this link to confirm your registration.

Your data will remain stored. With your next purchase you can immediately log in with your e-mail address and your password.

Please note:

  • After confirmation, you are automatically logged into your customer account.
  • If you have problems with the link, we recommend that you copy the complete link into the address bar of your browser and follow the address.

After confirming your e-mail address, you can log in and order from us.

After creating your online account, you have the following options:

  • Change your personal information (e.g. address, telephone number, name, credit card)
  • Change your e-mail and password

Further options:

  • Request an order history with a PDF download of your invoices and credits
  • Manage existing subscriptions, the newsletter and Coin Club status
  • Start online legitimation
  • After successful online legitimation, you can also conclude a gold deposit contract online via the customer account. Subsequently, all activities concerning the gold deposit (deposit, withdrawal, storage fees, cancellation) are possible here in the online customer account.

As a customer of our webshop you have numerous advantages. You can conveniently and securely shop from home. The shop is available round the clock. 

Your advantages at a glance:

  • You purchase your coins promptly and directly from us as manufacturer.
  • You order your coins approximately three weeks prior to issue. That way your supply is always up-to-date. Delivery is directly on the date of issue.

To order a product from the online service of Münze Österreich AG, click on the button "Add to basket". The product is added to your basket. In the overview at the top of the page you always see up to four products from your basket. A change in quantity is possible at any time prior to completing your order.

Once you have selected your products, go to the basket and complete the order. As a registered customer, log in with your e-mail address and password. If you are shopping for the first time, registration is required. Please use a secure password that complies with our password rules.

Your data will remain stored. The next time you make a purchase, simply log in with your username (the e-mail address you used to register with) and your password.

Your username can be changed by selecting "Personal data" in the menu, then opening "User data" in the submenu. You can now change the e-mail address (= your username) that's displayed by clicking on "Change username", entering a new e-mail address in the "New username" field and confirming your entry with your password. Click on "Save username" to save your new username.

Please avoid using umlauts such as ä, ö, and ü in the username. They cannot be processed correctly. Instead, please use the spellings ae, oe and ue.

Please store your credit card information in your web account under "Payment methods" and "Credit card data". Please note that when you store your credit card information, your card is tested and immediately charged € 1. The € 1 is just a reservation which is automatically deleted after 24 hours. This checks the validity of your credit card. Your credit card account was not charged.

The stored credit card information can only be used for subscriptions of collector's coins, not for webshop orders or gold saving subscriptions.

It's very easy. You can change the e-mail address in your web account (the e-mail address for communication). Log in to your customer account and change the e-mail address in the "Personal data" section.

If you have forgotten your password, please enter your e-mail address (username!) at https://www.muenzeoesterreich.at/user/forgot-password. You are then e-mailed instructions for resetting your password at the e-mail address for communication.

Log in to your user account and click on the "Order overview" option. Here you will find all of your orders sorted by date. You will find the respective order confirmation, invoice and shipping information for products purchased online and for subscription products that have been ordered for shipping.

You may also download your online invoices as a PDF.

We are pleased about your interest and you are welcome to order our products via our webshop, if your country can be supplied with an insured parcel within the customary national value limits.

If products are marked "sold out", then they are permanently unavailable. Please understand that collector's products are produced in a limited mintage which we adhere to and are not permitted to exceed. That means there is no subsequent production. Once these coins are sold out, items of this edition can only be purchased through other vendors such as coin dealers.

If products are marked "currently unavailable", however, then they may be offered again at a later date.

On the basis of the directives governing money-laundering and counterterrorism, we are required to establish the identity of the buyer for sales within six months and for an accumulated value of € 10,000 or more. Without exception, a valid passport, identity card or driving licence is required as proof of identity. Legal basis: money-laundering legislation under §§ 165 and 278d of the Austrian Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch).

For purchases in our Münze Österreich shop in Vienna (Am Heumarkt 1, 1030 Vienna) (link), our employees are required to ask for identification, even if two or more buyers appear to be connected.

Furthermore, transactions exceeding a value of € 75,000 may only be concluded if the money is paid by bank transfer (no cash payment). The limit of € 75,000 within six months is likewise cumulative.

Due to possible changes in the market price of precious metal products, the sale price can only be shown in the "basket" for a maximum of 15 minutes. In the order summary, the final purchase price is displayed before the purchase is completed and is valid for max. 5min.
